It's autumn time, it's autumn time....

the leaves are falling down!

With a winter storm literally knocking on the door (and windows), I needed to post a few of my fall colors. Maybe because I am an "autumn" on the color palette or because I am entering the "autumn" of life, it just seems like I have been soaking it in more than usual this year.
And with all the time I spent in the wild this week, who knew I would have to come home to see a porcupine in the backyard.

I loved the pictures and will be returning to this post in a few months when I need to remember what a beautiful fall we had. I sure enjoyed the time we spent in the mountains.

Wow! Those pictures are beautiful! We drove thru the canyon on Friday and it seemed impossible to capture it, but you certainly did! Maybe you and Jessica should go into business together! Maybe I could be in charge of printing the pictures since you and Jessica say you don't get to that part so often...thanks for sharing!

Mom, these pictures are spectacular. I love the leaves on the rotting wood, the yellow trees, and the horses... and all the others. Ahhh, I am falling in love with Fall all over again. Will you post some rainy, windy, yucky pictures so I feel better:)
